  • Graphics are great - lots of detail and very vibrant.
  • Music is decent - very upbeat.
  • Exhibition mode is fairly straight forward - pick a team, battle it out.
  • Challenge mode is disappointing - slow loading times, missions are short and repetitive [Different Missions, Same Basic Ideas].
  • Minigames are alright. A little more enjoyable than Mario Superstar Baseball's.
  • Toy Field is a lot more enjoyable. Definitely one of the best things about the game.
  • Practice is what you'd expect it to be.
  • 6 Modes - Exhibition, Challenge, Minigames, Toy Field, Practice, Recoreds
  • Recruiting characters isn't that fun. Once you meet one, you have to beat a mission to recruit them.
  • A lot of navigation in Challenge mode.
  • Return to certain spots after recruiting a team captain.
  • Minigames are thrown into challenge mode.
  • Overall, a decent game. Challenge mode is disappointing.

Based on the NA version.

The GCN version was pretty fun, and I look forward to playing this one. Although I don't think I'll have enough money to actually buy it, since I'll be paying for gas and all.
