Has anyone heard of this game and plans to get it? I definitely am when it comes to the UK in January, I also read it is out in North America on Friday! So I was wondering if anyone is going to buy it so I can play online with them etc. It also looks like the best Mario party game in years :D

omg, I am such a Mario Party fan and its for the 3DS?
I shall get it as a birthday present for myself XD

It looks like it could be great, but the gameplay seems so sluggish on the trailers.

I'm debating on it, but the last console one was kind of depressing and I recall not having much fun with the last handheld one so I'm not sure if I will bother or not yet.

Main thing is I really don't care for the Gyroscope or touch screen/stylus-heavy stuff and I'm sure many of the Minigames will those features.

I think I will. I love Mario Party DS and the minigames and new boards look nice. I didn't like the ones on TV consoles though.

So it does have online play? I plan on getting it, but I will probably wait until Christmas or my Birthday.

It does not have Online Play last I heard unless something has changed within the last few days. It has Download Play though.

I believe there has already been a thread for this, but is probably buried now with all the Pokemon threads that popped up.
I am waiting to see if I'm going to get it or not. I'm a huge Mario Party fan but I'll have to see if the gameplay looks good enough.

The only reason I debated it was because the commercial I saw for it was extremely corny and it was pretty terrible.
When is Nintendo going to learn that their audience revolves around teenagers more then kids :c

Of course, they could just be aiming towards kids for this game. It is unfortunate though, that Mario Party has been going downhill.

I'm pretty sad it doesn't have online play, it would have been a great game to play with all you so I could show you my superior mario skills. I don't think I'm getting it because it can't do online play and I don't like to play alone.

Mario Party is only fun if you have other people to play with. And since there's no Wi-Fi play, it's gonna be hella boring.

Just bought the game today.
Ill play it later and let everyone know how things are.

EDIT: The game is ok, but it's missing a few things. I wish there was a Story Mode or something to the game, but all I did was play two games. They were a bit fun and a little challenge.

If you want just a game to pass time, then this game is ok. If you're thinking this game is like the other games, think again is what I would say.

Exact opposite for me. Love the console ones, hate the handheld ones.
