I have a Japanese Wii U. I also have a Japanese train card (Suica) that has leftover money on it. You can use money on the Japanese train cards to pay for DLC and digital games on the Japanese Wii U. I'm thinking of using the money for Mario Kart 8 DLC, but there's only enough money on there for 1 pack. Which one do you guys think I should get?

Or do you think I should really try to get both? If I should get both I need to see if my American credit card will work on the Japanese eShop since I don't have enough for both on the train card.

Personally, I think Pack #2 is much better, but there are some good maps in Pack 1.

I'd say pack 2. The reason is there are lots of good courses to choose from. Cheese Land is my personal favorite. And if you're an AC fan and/or Bowser fan, there are 3 Animal Crossing characters to choose from. There is also Dry Bowser in the pack as well.

I don't really like pack 1. Not a lot of favorites for me. The only things I like in that pack is Tanooki Mario, Yoshi Circuit and Dragon Driftway.

I'd do #2.

I would really suggest getting both, but here are my opinions on the packs.

Tracks by my perspective of how enjoyable they are (Green = Good, Yellow = Okay, Red = Bad):

DLC Pack 1:

- GCN Yoshi's Circuit
- Excitebike Arena
- Dragon Driftway
- Mute City
- Wii Wario's Gold Mine
- SNES Rainbow Road
- Ice Ice Outpost
- Hyrule Circuit

Characters: Link, Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach
Vehicles: Blue Falcon, B Dasher, Master Cycle, Tanooki Kart

DLC Pack 2:

- 3DS Neo Bowser City
- GBA Ribbon Road
- Super Bell Subway
- Big Blue
- GCN Baby Park
- GBA Cheese Land
- Wild Woods
- Animal Crossing

Characters: Isabelle, Dry Browser, Villager M/F.
Vehicles: Streetle, City Tripper, P-Wing, Bone Rattler'

Overall DLC pack 2 has better stages, both packs have about equal quality characters, and DLC pack 1 has the best vehicle selection.

Get pack 2, the only bad stage in pack 2 is cheese land, the rest are good

I would suggest getting both because they are both very good and if you get the DLC bundle you'll get a special discount!

I usually like to get all DLC just to have them there. Odd I know but at least I'll be able to play if I wanted too.

I am leaning towards pack 2 because of Big Blue. But I kinda want the Excitebike and Zelda courses too. Argh. Maybe I just need to buy both.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Um, Baby Park deserves to be in green, not red (or at least yellow)

Personally I would pick pack two since it has more to offer but I'm sure if you purchase both together, you get a discounted price as well as nine colours of Yoshi and Shy Guy.

Maybe some people enjoy it, but I hate the fact it's a giant cluster **** of items. With 12 players it's just not enjoyable for me in the slightest.

That's what makes it the best version of Baby Park out of all of them!
