Maps with Ponds

I have a pond under my train station (which is right next to retail), one above town hall, one above Ankha's house (off to the side of Town Hall) and then one on the other side of retail. I've managed to work around them so it's not too bad and they don't look in the way. The only one that annoys me is the one above TH because it prevented me from planting a bush where I wanted so now it looks a little off cause it doesn't match the other side perfectly. (I'm OCD).

I don't know why so many maps have a pond in front of the train station. I hate that as well. When I was starting my 2nd copy, I kept seeing those maps. Eventually, I got one where everything looked good and just kept what I had. I think my new town has one or two ponds.

I really don't like ponds. So many decent maps are ruined by them IMO. And they take up PWP space. They also result in having weird rock placements which also takes up space. My current town has one pond, just the way like it.

I guess I've always gotten lucky because I never seem to have more than 2. I like ponds if they are far away from buildings/paths because they're cute to landscape around, but my main town has both in terrible places. ._.

I have an extra pond but it's nothing I couldn't live with.

There is a rock right in front of the station, so I can never landscape it right =.=
But the only pond I have is the Re-tail one, and I sorta like that xD
