Buying Map Design

I've recently flattened my whole island and moved all the houses to the beach only to realise I haven't got a single clue where to take it from here! xD
I'm wondering if anyone would possibly be able to design a layout for me. I know some people actually enjoy doing it! I on the other hand tried to have a go at it on the Happy Island Designer and just got completely overwhelmed and stumped. ;-;
I really don't think I like my maps design. . but after already restarting once I really don't want to go through all that hassle again. ;-;

Map designs are hard because they can limit what you actually do and set up in game. Sometimes the map looks really pretty (from what I've seen) but the island looks very boring and uninteresting LOL. I think you should just focus on decorating your island however you want and the map will come together. I was obsessed with trying to have a pretty map but every time I did.. The area that looked good on the map would look soooo wack in game so I just decorated how I wanted and enjoyed! If anything, try using inspiration from your favorite map layouts?

I'm in the same boat, but my plan is to figure out chunks at a time; I know I want a tree house camp, for example, so the unit count for that area would be maybe 8x8 and I would block that off on the designer tool. I ignore all the fancy icons and buildings. I find the island designer business overwhelming otherwise.

I saw that! I wanted to try to do something similar but my campsite is already in a good spot :')
