It's impossible to buy Manniquines because Animal Crossing doesn't let people drop mannequines:[

Sorry bud, but you can't drop, and therefore trade, those things. Whichever ones you get in game are the only ones you'll ever get, period.

Hmm, what about displaying them in Re-Tail, and buying them from there?

It is not possible to display them in retail.
You cannot trade mannequins whatsoever.

You can only sell mannequins to reese, and if you do, you won't be able to get another mannequin to replace it.

In other words, you get only 4 mannequins in the game, if you sell them to reese you will not be able to get them back!
