How many mannequins have you gotten, and how?

I have 1 from Mable (buying lots of clothes), 1 from a friend, and just now one from Sable when I tried to use the QR machine.

I also heard Gracie gives you one.

How did you get one from a friend? You cannot drop them, sell them, or pass them to somebody else.

I have 3. One from Sable, one from Mabel, and one from Gracie. I talked to Sable all the time because I like her and so I got my first Able Sisters Mannequin from her. I love it!

ETA - you get the one from Gracie upon your first purchase from her Boutique when you get the Emporium. She gives you one saying that with its help you'll never question your fashion choices again. Or something like that.

Same as above. I don't really buy stuff from Labelle because it takes a LONG time.

Wow...that would be cool. I would love to have more! I really want to make a creepy Halloween room and the plain manniquins would look so great in it.

I have all 4, Gracie's was the last one I needed, and she's the easiest to get once you've got your T&T upgrade.

Just called him, because now that I think of it, I never picked up one off the ground. He told me he had one in his inventory when he came over.

Maybe it some somehow the game copied it to mine.

As said above, they can't be dropped, traded, gifted, or transferred to another character in any (legal) way, so the scenario where you "got one from a friend" seems highly unlikely.

I have all 4, on both character. It's no biggy really.

1 from Mable (upon your 51st purchase of clothing)
1 from Sable (become friends by using her QR machine, and buy 50 "clothes")
1 from Labelle (buying 1 accessory in 31 (non-consecutive) days)
1 from Gracie (upon first random purchase in your town)

Not sure if "clothes" are defined as "only shirts/dresses" or also include bottoms. I bought all 5 pieces of clothes for 10 days straight. I got the Mannequin from Mable on my 11th day and 1st purchase of clothes. Didn't get Sable's yet but I'm allowed to user her QR machine. Perhaps I'll get it tomorrow.

Sable sows patterns which are shirts or dresses, not pants. So it would make sense that you'd have to buy 50 shirts or dresses before she'll consider you eligible for a Mannequin. More on that later (if I remember to check this thread)

You can actually earn the mannequins with alt characters too btw, same exact procedure.
That's why I said Gracie's is the easiest to achieve, you'll at least get one right away with an alt.

I know you can get Mannequins with Alts, but I really don't want to talk to Sable 10 times again, and buy 51 items. Gracie's is really easy though.

Well, now that you mention it, I do need more paths in my town, and I have to talk to her no matter what. I guess it is kind of easy then...
