Making More Bells

I just got my upstairs and Ive had the game for about 6 days now. Now I notice everything is about 400000+ bells too upgrade. I mean, I fish.... a lot.... but is there any other way too make a lot more bells cause I like upgrading and doing public works projects that cost a bit too

Go to the island in the hours of 6pm-8am lots of rare beetles are there worth 6k-12k I make about 300k-400k per trip.

Do you know what they are called? Are they on trees or just roaming around?

What i like to do on the island, is cut ALL of the trees down EXCEPT for two on each side. (Make sure they are a couple of trees apart too. So there should be two palm trees on the east, two palm trees on the west, and no trees in the middle or on the south of the island.

Then, as Luckyboy said, from 6PM and later (till 8AM) just catch the big beetles on the palm trees. They'll be the only ones that spawn. Do what you can to sneak around, the smaller golden stags are worth a lot, but fly away very easily!
Additionally, you can borrow the fishing rod and catch sharks that spawn, but i typically ignore them if i'm just farming for bells. Beetles are easier to catch for me haha. (I suck at fishing)
if you keep at it, it takes about 30min to an hour to max out your delivery box, and it nets you roughly 400k+ ^^

Yes, all of the trees in the middle (I tend to destroy the flowers too, so butterflies won't appear) and leave at least two palm trees on each side. when you're actually farming, just run back and forth basically till beetles spawn :>

^ Those are some really good tips! I would recommend them as well; if you want to see a full demonstration LinandKo on YouTube have a tip for making 400,000 Bells in less than 30 minutes, which is already mentioned here but you can see them do it for real if you'd like.
A side note for me to add; I'm surprised you've had your town for only six days and you're already that far! I truly believe you fish a lot!

Try using up a lot of bells to buy turnips. Pacificers still have time
Then, go to the Stalk Market Community thread which shouldn't be so far on the board. You need to request access to the spreadsheet, but once you do, you can see everyone's prices that they posted

NO! Keep one normal tree (not a fruit one) in the middle as a rainbow stag will occasionally appear!

It'd help as you'd get more for your beetles! But if you're only farming them as a one-off then I'd suggest not to, as it costs 20,000 to change.

I keep mine on beautiful while I hunt for beetles and I typically get 200k - 500k each night, depending how much I go to the island. You'll still make bells easy.
