Making a plane

Ok I’ve wanted to add water planes to my island for some time just like porco rosso. Only problem is idk how to do it, my current idea looks like this.

Any ideas or thoughts?

I need a picture or a wip to see this through because I'm not envisioning this well. I can see you terraform a plane shape out but are you going to use like forced perspective or anything? I'd have to really put on my thinking cap to think this out, lol.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just hate how small they are so it’s great for forced perspective but not immersion

Okay, I wrote some items for the tail part and mostly in red because I assume that's the color you want?

• effects rack (red) + 2 leaf stools (red)
• outdoor bench (orange) w/ custom pattern of plain red
• 2 diner counter table (red) - might be too big though
• metronome (red) - placed on a red item like effects rack, or record box
• 2 wooden low table (orange) - could be too long?
• two diner sofa (back to back) - might work as tail but might be too big
• box sofa (back to back) - no red but similar to above

That's all I got but I have no idea how it'll actually look.
