I never said it was a bad thing. Just that the issue is much deeper than people pretend... as is every issue. And don't use the word anarchy.

Oh, of course, I agree with you. One who is totally against government intervention will obviously find flaws with how these issues are being dealt with. I'm not denying that... I'm just saying that if we have to choose between outlawing gay marriage and legalizing it the way it's being done now, I'd rather have the latter.
Sure, essentially it's just the government tweaking the definition of "marriage", and it's still in essence regulation, but is there any other way? Without having to substantially change the way our government works, I mean.
