Main Street Villagers

Will villagers that have been adopted and moved to other towns ever appear on main street? Or only ones that are voided?

Yes, the villagers that have been adopted can appear again on Main Street. I believe you have to for 10(?) villagers to move out before you get to see the villager that you wanted to see on Main Street ~

But that wouldn't make sense. If someone adopted the villager already, it'll be in their town and not yours anymore.

Well, it would pretty much be exactly as if they were voided ^^ When a villager doesn't go to a specific town, you can assume they go to some nonexistent location (another town, if you will) and basically they occasionally visit yours. I can't explain why it happens either way, other than that Nintendo wanted us to have a way to see our old villagers again!

I meant if someone real comes to your town and adopts the villager (Let's say Ankha). Ankha will tommorow leave my town and be in the adopter's town. So wouldn't it be strange if Ankha disappeared from their town and visited mine for a day?

In that case, she wouldn't leave the other person's town. But yeah, she would be in two places then and that is a little strange-- but I guess it's for the sake that you'd be able to see her again!
