Mailing other mayors.

Ok, so I made a new town with a new mayor over writing my original from 2013. It uses the cartridge of the game. I have a digital copy of the game and thus a game on that. Can my tow mayors mail each other? I have only one 3ds. Or do I have to get help from some on here if I want to transfer items?

From What I’ve heard is you’d have to be into the other town in order to send them mail.. So you might need someone else’s help to transfer items.. unless you have two 3DS you’d be able to send mail if your in the town you want to mail things to..
