mailing furniture

So if I mail multiple pieces of furniture to a villager whose house looks like garbage, will they put all of the furniture in or do I need to send one at a time?

They will put their furniture in, but i'm not 100% sure. I just wait until they ask for a redecorate for their house.

They will not always show it off (I've read they have an inventory like us, so I'm assuming most furniture and clothes you give just kinda rot there.) You can send clothes and furniture and they will usually display/wear it (in my experiance) but the best bet is just to wait for them to want to redecorate their house

Sometimes they'll display it, sometimes they won't. If you have a pricey piece you want in their house, make sure to wait for them to ask for some furniture, or you risk them hiding it away forever!

(I have some particularly stubborn villagers who are being especially resistant about redecorating atm. Q AQ)
