Thank you very much for that advice, it is very much appreciated and have done so hopefully the same won't happen for any future villagers. Might I ask if you have added the friend code to both Aniville, the town in which you will pick up Merengue, and Maemi, my main town in which you are asked to leave a message on the bulletin board, either of thanks or something positive! ;u;

Is the friend code yourself uses the one under your username? ;u;

As apposed to a rating, I'd much prefer you visit my town, Maemi, which the friend code is on the first post, and write something on the bulletin board! After you collect Merengue, of course

He's still available and not in boxes, however soon he most probably will be! I cannot guarantee that you'll get him, but I won't void him and shall PM yourself instead!
