Mac or PC?

I don't understand why there's all this stupid Microsoft hate.
What, you expect there to be a lot of Mac hate, like what you brought when this thread began?
LAWLno.

I state the facts. Unlike what you seem to believe, the Mac is NOT a wonder machine from heaven. It's a computer, that seems to think that 'creative' equates to 'better'.

The Mac is the computer version of the Nintendo.

I've never said Mac is a "wonder machine from Heaven". But from personally experience with both Windows and Mac, I can say that Mac has been a LOT better for me. And what do you mean by Mac is the computer version of "the Nintendo"? Do you mean the NES, or the company? And what do you mean by that, anyway?

I'm meaning it values creativity over functionality and is highly overrated, is why.
Exactly.

A piece of *CEN-2.0-SORD* on a canvas with some sort of philosophy behind why there is a piece of *CEN-2.0-SORD* on a canvas is still just a piece of *CEN-2.0-SORD* on a canvas.

But it's not a piece of *CEN-2.0-SORD*. It's better than any PC I've ever used.

Then you must be using *CEN-2.1-SORD* PCs.

Mine, however, is a godsend. Maybe if you used the money you spent on overpriced Apple products towards something like, I don't know, a machine that was actually efficient, you would realize that.

PC 4 life. Macs to me are ugly, uncompatible, and worst of all, ungamable. I guess they're ok for people who casually like glossy white things to browse the net and usual tasks, but any serious computist must have access to a PC. Maybe it was because you has 2000, wasnt that one of the most fails OS's of all time?

My MacBook is amazingly efficient... It's amazingly fast, amazingly powerful, and just plain...amazing. C'mon, PCs don't come with a built in iSight camera, built in Bluetooth, AirPort, which makes connecting to wi-fi a breeze, a Multi-Touch trackpad, amazing graphics, and so much more! I'm not saying Macs are superior to PCs (but I'm not saying the opposite, either), but I'm pretty impressed with my Mac.

Yes, I have a 2000. I hate it. But I used to have an XP that I hated almost just as much. And the XPs at my school just plain suck. And when it comes to gaming, I'm strictly console. I could care less about computer gaming. I need a good computer for school and video editing that won't crash on me every ten minutes.

Let's agree to disagree and keep knives at eachother's throats, yes?

Random thought, is the apostrophe necessary there?

Okay, but what apostrophe are you talking about? In eachother's? (Which should be two words, BTW. Sorry, my grammar Nazi side is coming out...)

You must have had a bad system, and honestly, all bought computers suck. I built mine nearly 3 years back, and I have yet to see a system faster than it in person. Macs are not necessarily bad, but they would never appeal to me. I will never and have never bought a premade PC. You save incredible ammounts of money, and always get what you pay for in building. You cant do that with a Mac.

But seeing you use it for video editing etc, It should suit most of your needs fine, Macs and Apple in general is racking in the young crowd these days. But I still think Micro is far superior. The Zune owns the iPod, I think most people can agree to that. I guess I'm just lucky that I have fallen in love with Vista, Once you turn the nanny mode off. It has run like a dream for over a year for me.

Not the iPod touch.

I would much rather have that than my Zune.

My uncle built the crappy 2000 that we have... He said it's a more stable OS than XP... =P At least he doesn't think Windows 95 is superior like my grandpa...

I want an iPod Touch, but at the same time I don't. It looks a lot better than any other iPod, but the 32GB limit is why I'm sticking with my Classic.

Pssh, I barely have about 3 to 4 gigs of music/videos.

But I'm sure the apps would take up some space. x.x
