Lucky is Confusing me

A couple of hours ago he pinged me and said a single line of text to the effect of "Kyle, I appreciate all of the time I spend with you and all my friends around town."

I actually talk to Lucky very little, and he rarely pings me, so I'm confused.
-Is he about to give me his pic because we're "good friends"?
-Is he trying to hint me that I need to talk to home more often so I can "appreciate my time with him"?
- Are ACNL relationships even supposed to be this complicated?
-Has anyone else had a ping similar to this? A one liner about appreciating their friends?
-Why does this ping happen?

That's strange.. I've never had that happen with anyone in my town, was it just like that one sentence and then the conversation ended?

Yeah. Lucky just pinged, said that, then the conversation was done.

Maybe he was trying to hint that you're not spending enough quality time together and meant it sarcastically. cx

I had one similar about friendship by Marshal. I moved him out though.

Yeah it happened to me too, the villagers ping and then almost out of nowhere they talk about appreciating our friendship, I think it`s quite nice, I?m guessing it?s either happening when you`ve reached a good amount of friendship, when you?re about to become friends with the villager, or maybe has to do with Katrina?s luck with relationship and friendship.

ive got a few villagers said that to me. not exactly what lucky said but similar. at first i thought theymwere hinting me that theyre gonna move

A similar things happened to me earlier today: Fuchsia pinged me, told me her favourite magazine was going out of print and that she had no idea what to do now.

And I don't know what to do with this information, do you want me to write you a magazine, Fuchsia? lol
