despite the fact that i love lucky and he is one of my dreamies, im commenting here for my friend who doesn't have a bell tree acc afaik. she loves lucky bc she used to have him in an old town. i think hes her favorite and she really wants to have him back in new horizons and i thought id help. Lucky was my favorite villager growing up playing animal crossing on the Gamecube. I had fallen away from the game, but New Horizons has really brought me back to a game I cherished so much. To have the chance to have my favorite villager from all those years ago on my island would be a cherished reminder of those good old days and something I would appreciate dearly.

I love Lucky because I like his overall look concept as a villager! (He’s just so cute with the mummy look and single glowy eye ehe) I find it amusing how his name doesn’t exactly reflect his look, and it just makes me think he’s just someone that just wants to have a good time despite the circumstances. I love him becuz we both share the same name! I have lots if nostalgia with him due to being one of my first villagers back in no and have been searching for him for awhile now he's been a to prioroty to me!

I first encountered Lucky when he happened to move into my town back on the Gamecube version of Animal Crossing. I was always fascinated by his design, as his Egyptian inspiration sets him a part from basically all the other animals (minus Ankha). I remember him being the nicest neighbor back in the day when we had 15 or so villagers in town haha.

I don't know if it is because of my childhood, but he also reminds me of The Mummy with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz. I would literally watch that film on repeat on weekends. With Lucky being a "mummy" and my favorite movie of all time being "the Mummy," it only makes sense that I, too, invite Lucky to my island where he would definitely be cherished and loved permanently.
