"So...are you gonna...go home or.stay?" I built up the nerve to ask.

"J-just trying not to be rude...." I said normally "Stay, if you want to." I said, smiling a small smile.

"Ok, I wish I could, but I am freakin starving. If you want you could join me at Starbucks?"

"U-uh..." I started to scratch my head. "O-okay...I'll pay..."

"I can't let you pay, I invited you after all"

"N-no. It's okay. I just want to be generous, as all..." I say, trying to sound normal.
