The doors to the school swung open.
In skipped a lithe girl, a little taller than average, wearing a blue sweater speckled with white stars and an ox blood red skirt.
"I'M HERE!" she yelled to the empty halls as she tossed her black/brown hair empathically. "Ruffla Jenkins is in the house and team Ruff is gonna stomp!"

I walk to school, looking forward to seeing Aki*

I see Skylar, and smile. "W-well...I gotta go to class" I say, passing Skylar. When I as close enough to Skylar, I smiled again.

I go t literature, and realize that Skylar sits right next to me.

"Oh, Hey Aki!" I say as I plop down in my seat in literature*

H-hey.." I say. I still feel a bit awkward around her.

*I pull out my notebook and start doodling as class starts*

I made sure nnot to pay attention to the teacher.

While toning the teacher out, all I could do was secretly stare at Skylar.

What is this feeling...Love.

Ruffla, slightly bemused at the fact no one was in the halls to greet her, decided to go and explore the school herself. After all, why not welcome yourself if no one else will?
She had no idea where the main office was so she stumbled around the halls for a bit.
(that's what I do IRL)

I saw someone new walking outside, so I ask the teacher to be excused. I walked outside and tried to greet her.

"I-I have been looking around for y-you...are you the n-new girl?"

Why did she like me? It...it makes me feel weird...it makes me feel.....like I have someone...
