Why do people want four-leaf clovers? I don't see how they increase luck.

For the same reason as DeadJo just said -- another reason may also be that some people have nature theme'd towns and clovers make nice decorations, just like hybrids or flowers do. they can also be used as an item you can place in your home, which is pretty neat to me! personally, i like using them as decorations alongside my flowers in my town.
