Lost track of 16 Villager Cycle

So I was thinking of restarting one of my towns and I did but kinda regretted it... but while looking around I found the game card that had my Wolf town in it I was surprised almost everyone was still in it but I forgot that Fang had moved out before I put the game away... I want to get him back but I have no clue what stage in the 16 villager cycle hes in which makes it hard to plan/lurk for him

I've seen 2 villagers on main town I know moved out before him but that's about it... is there any trick to figuring this out?

Well villagers will start showing up on Main Street after you've moved out 8 other villagers after them. So once you see him on mainstreet you can safely assume you've gone at least halfway. But other than that there's no real trick to find out unfortunately other than checking after each move out to see if you can find him on mainstreet/in shops

They won't show up on main street anymore after you cycled out 16 other villagers.

Yeah, I have no clue either. I really wish there was some way the game kept track of this for us. That would be so much easier, lol.

Why don't you just keep track of who's moved out after your desired villager in the game notes because I use the game notes a lot and it actually helps

Well I didn't know it took 8 villagers to get them to show up on mainstreet... thats a good starting point I guess Thanks guys!

Yeah just wait a few days to confirm fang is out of your cycle because sometimes they don't show up, it's weird.
