Ever since my favorite villager, Biskit, moved out because of a TT accident I just can't play anymore. I've been really upset with myself because I didn't want to TT but I did a few times to speed up the moving process for villagers when they pinged me and said they were moving out. I've been thinking about restarting my game, but I've done so much and I have a lot of my dreamies in my town. What should I do?

:(

I mean you'll eventually find him again but don't reset your town over a villager if you've already done so much work and gotten most of your dreamies that's the best advice I can give you;)

I know I can get him back, but this is my first AC game and he was one of the first villagers in my town. I guess its a little silly that I got so attached.

You could always cycle out 16 more villagers and get Biskit back!

ALSO you could move on without Biskit or restart your town, but I'm not sure I'd recommend those since you seem to really cherish both Biskit and your current town!

You could also take a break from Animal Crossing! If I remember correctly, I think if you save and stop playing the day you tell a villager no when they ask to move, then none with move while you are on hiatus. To protect your flowers, you could enact the Beautiful Town Ordinance (if you haven't already hehe). When you return, you could decide whether or not to do the 16 cycle, demolish the town, or the let go of Biskit as a villager.

And I've taken a break for about 3 months now... I'm trying to get back into it! Thanks for the advice though!

So, I'm kind of confused. Do I have to cycle through 16 villagers before I can get him from the thread, or is there a way to get him back by cycling.

Aah sorry if I worded anything in a confusing way!
If you want a villager who moved out to be in your town again, you have to have 16 villagers move out (the 16 villager cycle) after their move in order for them to be able to come back. It is seen as a tedious and lengthy process by most, so it is usually only done by those that really, really want a certain villager back.

Ah thank you!, I will try this! (Hopefully I wont lose any of my other dreamies in the process!) ;-;

The chances of getting Biscuit again if you restart is so slim, that it would take hours of restarting. I say keep your town. You obviously love it and it's your very first town. I'll make sure to keep my eye out for Biscuit for you and if I ever get him, I'll tell you straight away!

The same thing happened to me while I was trying to set up PWPs for the next villager to move in! I wish you the best of luck getting biskit back!

I feel you, when Erik moved out unexpectedly I put my DS down for two days and didn't play, then I started doing my daily villager rounds and digging up fossils and fell back into it pretty fast.

The same thing happened to me. Katt was in my cycling town I invited her to move to Eden. I play my towns regularly and don't TT in Eden. When I loaded up the game for the day I was devasted to find her gone. For three weeks I didn't play. I was very lucky to have nine villagers in one of my other towns so I visited Juliette in the hopes she would follow. Thankfully, she did. Jay is another favorite unfortunately I lost him while TTing, I did go through the 16 villager cycling process to get him back. Though the process was a pain in a** I'm thrilled to get him back.

Don't restart your town! I lost Rolf 9 days ago and reset my town! It's been a huge mistake!

Thank you guys for the support! I'm going on vacation from work next week so I'll be able to go through the cycle then. But how long does it usually take? Can I do it in a day if that's all I do?

I don't know tbh, sometimes some villagers you want to move out are stubborn and will basically seem like they are going months without wanting to leave. Cobb was the absolute worst for me, I do think a week is possible especially if you have less than 7 or so faves cause then you can take advantage of both the random move in and the camper to speed the process up.

I wouldn't completely focus on it alone tho, try to accept the game without him for just a little bit and keep up with the rest of the town in the same way. That's how I did it with cycling for Tangy and Daisy, plus you'll see him in your main street soon enough. Goodluck! Hope you get him back soon and in a better location too. :P
