Looking for town with Island!

Since I have a pirate beach, I really need a wetsuit, and for some reason my island has not come yet. I am looking for 2 things:
1. Someone to play island game with,
2. Knowledge on what it takes to get the island

For the Island you need to have paid for the tent. Then, for me, 2 days later, Tortimer appeared when I started the game and told me the island will be unlocked tomorrow.
It' gonna be tomorrow for me then. Until I'm looking for someone with island to visit

OK i thought it was the next time you started up the game that tortimer appears, no wonder i havent got it yet.

That's what I tought too. He'll appear the next time it will be 6.am, when a new day starts.
