I've put quite a bit of time into my town. The overall image that I was going for is pretty and organized, but still having a natural feeling to it. I think that it looks nice, but I feel like some parts seem a little...bland? Anyway, I've been thinking of changing some things up but I'm not quite sure where to start, so if anyone is willing to check out my dream town and share their thoughts, I'd be very appreciative.

My dream code is in my signature! And I'll gladly return the favor and check out your town if you post your dream address! ^_^

Hmm, your dream town is by far, the most amazing I've seen yet. But I still have some comments.

The corner of the town with the jungle gym and tire toy? Were you perhaps trying to make a park? If so, try to put in a picnic blanket and if you don't, just wander around until a villager pings you to get one. In the meantime, just put a few streetlights here and there. Arches definitely help make your town look natural. Put in a few trees in the park area. Oh, and look around for a sandbox PWP. :)

Hot springs help A LOT. :)

Do you happen to have a wysteria trellis? That would be very effective in your town.

Can you tell me where the bland spots are? I could look and help. :)

My DA is on my profile. My town is really messy and it's a work in progress. :3

Thanks for your comments :) Yes, the area with the jungle gym is a park! I still need to work on making it look less empty.

As for the bland spots, at first I wanted to have a couple big orchards in my town, but now I'm starting to wonder if I planted too many trees. Like maybe I'm just wasting that space. But I already have 30 public works projects, to I'll have to rearrange some things if I make my orchards smaller.

I'll go check out your dream town right now :D

@sylveonsbow I like what you're doing with your town so far. I really like the path design that you chose, it almost looks like chalk. The design on the face-cutout standee near the station is adorable. The bushes in that area and around town hall look really nice, as well.

And I love that 3 of your characters are named after Pokemon. My favorite room was upstairs in Shaymin's house, and I also liked Candy's room a lot, as well.

Judging by what you have done so far, once you finish planting bushes throughout your town and organize your flowers, it'll look really nice ^_^

@nammie I'll go to your town now ^_^

Your town is really nice!! I really like the paths, never seen them/anything like them before O:
and it's always a plus when I get cute outfits to change into!! hehe
also your Zelda room... so well done hehe

Some advice/points:
I wish you had paths that actually led to the entrances of your homes, also sometimes the paths seem to end abruptly...? i.e. that section to the left of the plaza

Also I don't think you have too many trees per say.... but it'd be nice if there were like. Paths or something in between? Or like a PWP inside the orchards? Instead of just... a lot of large forests.

And the park, even if you don't have any more room for PWPs you could use like qr codes on the ground? there's a lot of cute picnic blanket ones, if you don't know any I think I can link to some :)

@nammie Wow, your town is really impressive. Definitely one of the best that I've seen. I usually don't like patterns of water because they tend to look out of place, but you used them really well. The different areas of your town just flow together really well, if that makes sense. Everything just looks really beautiful.

And the attention to detail in all of your houses is so good. My favorite was probably Momo's house. You really nailed the Japanese theme, and the furniture is arranged so that you have a lot of stuff in your rooms without them looking cluttered.

Overall, your town is really great. Definitely a dream I'd have again ^_^

aw thank you!! yea I usually don't like water patterns either but the ones I found were so lovely and fit pretty well with the grass that I decided to use it!!

and thanks for liking momo's house hehe I tried hard to make it look... cozy... :D

Thanks about the paths. I made the designs for them, and I don't think anyone else has used them.

I think I get what you mean about the paths. When I made my town, I definitely didn't put my mayor's house in the best spot, so I decided to make that one more secluded. But that also kind of makes it harder to get to. And near the plaza, I put some stumps to sit on by the path, but it does look kind of weird that those are the only things there.

And I like your suggestions to rework my orchards instead of replacing them. Some paths and moving a couple pwps will probably help a lot. Thank-you so much for your comments ^_^

No problem!! Your path designing skills are really good *O*
yea I think it'd be really cute if you had like.. dirt?? looking paths through your orchards! or maybe you could put like... a couple fairy rings in your orchards if you don't want to move your PWPs? Those would be nice breaks in between trees I think hehe

and here are what fairy rings are in case you don't know :D http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairy_ring

I didn't know what fairy rings were, but those are really pretty! :D
