I like the nice wide paths but they are a little boring, maybe something with a border? If it's going to be a fall town maybe some appropriate PWPs like the scarecrow, rack of rice, water well, wisteria trellis.

The rows and rows of fruit trees don't do anything for the aesthetic of the town. Try planting fewer trees more irregularly to give the town a more natural feeling.

I'm working on a fall town myself. I'm using dirt paths lined with sweet olive and holly bushes. If you'd like to check it out to see if what I'm doing would suit your town let me know.

Also, because it's a fall town, I'm only using red, yellow and orange flowers.

Thanks for your advice! It really means a lot and is giving me a better idea on how to fix things.

I was thinking of going with bordered paths, but that'll mean I'll have less space when it comes to QR codes. I could make another player, but I have no idea on where I could place their home without it taking up so much space. I'll definitely consider having bordered paths when I do find a nice spot for a second player, though.

I'm going with sweet olive and holly bushes as well, although what I'm doing with them doesn't look right to me.

That would be nice if I could get some thought on what would suit my town the most. If it's alright, I'll send you a PM about it sometime.

My spring town DA is in my signature, that town is done. My second town, which is a fall town, is just getting started. The DA is 4100-6829-4849. Here is the map:

I've only built a few PWPs so far (cafe, police station, reset center, campsite, light house, water well, 3 brick bridges and 3 yellow benches. But you can get a good idea of what I'm going for with paths and layout.

As for adding other characters to hold patterns, I love creating additional houses with themes. In WeeHaven I'm making a boutique, art studio and a cottage.
