He was an original villager in my son's town and he moved out unexpectedly. We would very much like to get him back, he was loved and had nice flowers around his house.

errrr, no, he's 8 and plays for a few minutes after school every day. I'm a more serious player but cycling is too daunting. Rasher is not popular so might be harder to find. So thought I'd ask.

She asked if you cycled through 16 villagers, because that is the amount needed before a villager can move back into your town.

So we can't have him back if we have a space and if we go to another town and invite him to move to ours?

Unless you have another town for him to move into unfortunately you can't. You would have to cycle out 16 villagers in order for him to move back in, I am currently in the same boat with Goldie. Also, unless you are actually trading a villager we are not allowed to have posts like this in this thread. I would recommend going to the top of the page and posting in the looking/trading/buying thread that you are looking for Rasher and probably checking in on the cycling threads because they may have in, but cycling the 16 villagers is the first thing you have to do. Unfortunately, Looking for/Buying threads for villagers is against the rules. I know that sounds really crazy (this board is for finding villagers after all!) but the reason it's against the rules is because we have over 100+ people visiting the VTP a day. If we allowed everyone to make their own Looking for/Buying threads for villagers the board would be filled with spam. It make sure this doesn't happen and to make sure you still get the villagers you're looking for, we ask that you put the villagers you're seeking in your signature so that it's always visible to others or post in the Official Looking for/Trading/Buying thread. The Trading prefix is intended for trading one villager for another, not for trading bells/items/multiple villagers/ other video game items etc for a specific villager.
