Looking for older players and possible friends

I'm an older player as well (closer to 40 than 30!) and would love to get in on this

Sadly I've never actually visited anothers town so if someone is willing to walk me through the process I'd very much appreciate it!

I dunno what you're already familiar with (game and system) but anyway:

Be connected to the Internet on your 3DS.
On the home screen, click on Friend List (the little white and orange square smiley face in the top row of buttons)
Click Register Friend > Internet > Input their friend code.

In game: Go to train station.
Visit another town or invite guests in (if you want to leave or have people come to you)

Choose faraway friends or town depending on if you want to visit or be the host.

Sorry for the long-winded explanation; I just figured I'd cover everything, lol.
