Buying looking for literal trash

I need to catch a fly and I've had no luck with rotten fruit and I've just created the beautiful ordinance so I need a trash can from the river (hopefully that'll attract a fly!)

I'll give you like 5k or something for your time idk?

I'm going to try to fish for a Gar in an hour or so (that's when it's 4pm in my time zone), I can let you know if I find any trash.

Rotten fruit is obtained from perfect trees, the last time it bears fruit, but it only attracts ants (at least for me), the trash is as you said from the river or the ocean, any trash should work, I got my fly from a tire, just keep fishing, you are working on the fishing medal at the same ime.
