What are some games like Mass Effect or Deus Ex: HR in the sense that you can choose what you say from a selection wheel?

Or games like inFamous where your action affects the game?

PS3 or Xbox360 games only please.

Dragon Age 2.. uh.. I'm not sure if there are anymore other than that with the dialog wheel.

hm. I'd really like to know if there are anymore as well.

Well... I've never played Mass Effect or Deus Ex: HR but if you like RP games in which you choose what you say, choose to be a bad or a good guy, shooting things, doing quests, finding treasures, and are okay with worn out wasteland, I highly highly recommend Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas). The Fallout series is probably my favorite; you can choose to go with the storyline or not, it's kinda like a sandbox type rpg. Your actions effect what happens in the story and who you can partner up with or talk to. Even more so in Fallout: New Vegas (especially with the DLC/endings are different depending on what you have accomplished).

Fallout 3 may be a bit bleak looking because everything in the DC wasteland is ruined but if you haven't tried this game the quests and DLC make up for it's lackluster looks. (Not saying the graphics are bad, the world is just brown, grey, black, and blueish).

If you prefer more color in your game, Fallout New Vegas may suit you better. It also comes with exciting quests and DLC. Not to mention customizable weaponry.

Thanks for the susgestions about Fall out. Ive heard good things about it and have been looking into it lately. I've played Dragon Age II before and I didnt really like it that much but I didnt spend much time with it to make a proper opinion. @Prof Gallows if you like those types of games aswell I definitely susgest Mass Effect or inFamous.

Red Dead Redemption or the Fable series. Easily.

Red Dead Redeption is my favourite video game of all time (played it on the xbox) with a massive open world and multiplayer! It's set in the time of the Wild West or cowboys so guns are involved (yay) and your actions DO affect the game... slightly. You gain fame and honour during your endeavours which open up new quests and opportunities.

I've played Fable 2 and 3 and they too were great games. Set around the 1700s to 1800s (I think) you are a hero with guns, swords and magic! Your actions do effect the game and your world evolves around you, changing. You can get married, have children, buy property and the world eventually.

Hope I helped ;)

I've got the whole ME series, never played inFamous though. Looked like something I could really get into but every time I decided to get it I was either broke and ended up forgetting, or the store didn't have it.
I'll have to see if I can find it.

I would go to the shopping channel on you console and choose Fighting or Action as a keyword for looking up games.
Or go to a store you know sells games for your system and type Fighting Online Action as keywords.

If you have the platform to play it on (Xbox or PC), the two KOTOR games could also meet your fancy. The first is made by BioWare (Mass Effect, obviously) and the second by Obsidian (makers of Fallout: New Vegas, i.e. the 3D Fallout with an actually good story.) I know the first one is on Steam, not sure about the second

Can you please go through the thread to see when the last post was made?
I mean, this thread is almost a month old, but there's still no need to bump it
