Locked, un-locked Freinds??

When Your in your"Freinds Roaster" all your freinds have a lock/unlock thing. Anyone know what the diffrence between locked and unlocked is?

If they're locked, you have more chances of playing with them online when you're searching for Friends. It also protects from deletion.

if you really wanna play someone, you lock them, instead of deleting everyone else on your list.
