I found out today that GAME are doing a Pokemon X/Y Promo, with no purchase necessary. Details here.

Most likely you already know this, and I'm new to Pokemon so not even sure if they're worth it but hey! If you're in town and near a GAME then why not?!

My country has no version of GameStop or GAME. As far as I know. Which sucks, because it's hard for a gamer like me to find and buy quality games.

From what I gather they print you a receipt at the till with the code on, without you having to purchase anything. Maybe there's leaflets though? I'm not sure ><

Just checked Serebii and they said: "No purchase is necessary for this, you just have to ask the staff for the code."
Well, poop, all the staff at my local GAME are all judgemental arses so getting my code won't be fun...

I did not know about this. I hope I can still get a code. I need to finish playing pokemon anyway so hopefully this will motivate me.

It's for an unconfirmed amount of time, and we have until September 2014 to actually enter the codes, I think. It started on the 4th so maybe a couple of weeks at the least? I dunno how long these things usually last x3

I just got it now. I went into GAME and asked aboutthe free pokemon event and he said I had to have a loyalty card. I gave it to him and he printed me off a receipt and put it in some leaflet think just explaining what to do and advertising the game.

i went with my friends and, to our surprise, when we opened the leaflet we got a free foil pikachu trading card and then a random card. (I got pansear, my friend got pumpkaboo)
Quite a cool promotion imo!

I think it's X and Y which is good as I only just started collecting them. It must be if my friend got a Pumpkaboo

Thank goodness I didn't go to GAME yesterday then, I don't have a loyalty card! (I've ordered one now though!) I like the sound of getting a Pokemon Card- I haven't got any since HG/SS came out!
