What is it?
Little King's Story is a Pikmin-esque game where you, King Corobo (Default name), must command your troops to unite the world.

What's the Story?

How does it play?

Pros
 • The chalk-like visuals offer something new.
 • The game contains no motion controls at all, so it provides a relaxing experience.
 • The game is somewhat addicting, especially if you like expanding your kingdom.
 • The game offers subtle drops of humor, for example, your villagers can have so many wives and husbands, makes fun of a different game published by Marvelous and some characters break the fourth wall.
 • The boss battles are very unique. For example, you could be fighting against an obese king who can't even get out of his throne in one battle, and competing in a game show the next.
 • You get to enjoy Little King's Story if you buy it
Cons
 • The chalk-like visuals are a double edged sword. It sometimes hinder you from differentiating what's what and who's who in the game.
 • The save system is somehow annoying, as you have to return to your castle whenever you want to save.
 • Sometimes, getting money for kingdom upgrades get very, very repetitive as the upgrades are very expensive and the money you get from items is very little.
 • You live a life of regret if you don't get it.

How hard is it?
The game is pretty laid-back on Easy and Normal, but very punishing on Hard. The bosses are harder to kill and are more powerful.

Will I be playing this over and over?
You probably will if you don't mind the constant grinding for money to get 100% on kingdom upgrades.

Controls
The game is played using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck combo. B is used for recruiting villagers to be your Royal Guards and help you fight against monsters. C is used for zooming in and out. Left and Right on the D-pad rotates the camera. Up in the D-pad is used to change the formation of your troops (Defense, Attack or Evade). Down in the D-pad is used to change the order of your troops. A is used for sending your Royal Guards to do things, it depends on your villager's class. 1 is used for dismissing your Royal Guards to let them live their regular lives. 2 is used to warp to your castle, provided you do it in the field menu. + or - is used to open up the field menu.

What's the Verdict?
A definite buy.

Yea, I've been playing this game and it's pretty fun.
Hey, do you know about the N1c3 K1ngd0m letter?

Spoiler: click to toggle

It's a letter about aliens invading your kingdom, and the battlefield will be the Town Square. I advise you to bring a lot of Animal hunters as the UFO flies most of the time and barely lands.

There, it's in the spoiler for you.
