Little detaisl to your town.

I've been trying to find out how to add little detail to my town that can make it stand out. Some of my ideas were to put bushes around your path. (What i'm currently doing.) Popping balloons around your path is also a grand idea. Have any ideas?

Maybe put flowers around houses and buildings! LIke, maybe yellow roses around your house and red tulips around the town hall? I donno! That's all I got!

Lining your paths with bush starts isn't a little detail. A little detail is sort of something like an Easter egg.

Anyway, one of the things I have on my beach is a heart made by varying pink and red flowers, and two stumps, two spaces apart, in the middle of that heart. I think it's pretty cool.

I like to do fun little things, like.....
put red, white and blue flowers in a patch, and add a custom design sign with the American flag in the middle.
I also put in a patch of dandilions with a sign that says "Just dandy".
I turned the bus stop into a lemonade stand in one town, and a fruit stand in another town.
Another thing I did was put in a patch of black and yellow roses with a sign that says "Bee Happy".It also has a honey bee on it.
And if I'm not sure what to do with an area, I just add trees, flowers or bushes.
Oh, and I turned the fence pwp into a chicken coop in my farm town.
I love to decorate.lol.I guess thats why I have 3 towns.

There are several ways you can make your town your own. It just depends. I themed my flowers around houses to fit the villager (blue and purple roses by Pango, black and purple tulips by Muffy, etc). I like when people create little parks and areas that don't have villager houses but it's just an area that they've completely decorated themselves. Overall do what makes you happy for your town. People can give you advice all day long, but ultimately you're the one who has to pick the game up each day (or however often you play) and look at it. I didn't decorate my town cause I wanted other people to like it and gawk at it. I did it cause I like decorating and wanted to make something pretty. :3

I actually did the same exact things...
I felt like, it wouldn't be my town without me burying the creepy skeleton behind my house.

You can make little gardens for your neighbors as well.
All my neighbors have their own little coordinating flowers to go with their home exteriors or personalities. Muffy gets white lilies, Flora pink tulips, Marina & Lolly pink & white cosmos, Tangy orange pansies, etc. You can make signs for your town. Mine are just things like "Please mind the flowers!" and "Enjoy SugarOak!" I also have a Lonely Hearts Club sign by Marina's house. Decorate with special stumps (takes several tries) and mushrooms. I have a fairy ring in one town?

Some of my villagers have special things by their houses. Kabuki has red and white lilies, Molly has pink lilies, and Vic has water patterns. My paths are mostly lined with bushes, and in some places bamboo, and then by my campsite, I have a lot of cedar trees. My fruit trees are arranged in a circle by those with a zen bell and gold roses and white carnations in the middle. I also put gold roses in front of my mayor and 2nd character's houses, the town hall, and the cafe
