Anyway, I found it was quiet too, but I was wearing headphones. Try some, might help.

A couple's driving in to the U.S. from Canada, and they stop at a checkpoint. The officer there asks them some fairly standard questions in the beginning.
"Where are you heading to?"
"The Niagra Falls Shopping mall."
He then asks them more and more invasive and unnecessary questions such as, "What stores are you going to?"
After the man questions why he needs to give out such trivial information, the cop makes him leave the car and starts interviewing him. They start criminalizing the man, asking if he has any weapons or drugs, and claim he could possibly be a terrorist. Understandably, the man starts talking in an enraged tone. They then say he's under arrest for obstruction of justice. His wife starts freaking out, and grabs an officer's arm, so she gets arrested for assault.

This doen't happen at the Scottland-UK border, I think. I mean, I would get annoyed if someone said I was a terrorist just because I wanted to know why I was being asked loads of questions just so I can go to a shopping centre.
