List of Villagers Based on Popularity

I personally think Marshal's place as the most popular villager is untouchable. The reason people aren't posting as often about him in this in sections is probably because so many people have him now. I don't have that much experience with ranking things though, so I probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

I second dropping Ankha and Whitney. Although they apparently are popular, honestly, I have hardly seen anyone who has them as a dreamie. Marina as well.

Definitely agree with Whitney... i don't see her anywhere, people talking aout her, or wanting her

I think marshal is still number 1. Merengue is number two though. And yes, julians popularity is declining. Moving down whitney is also a good idea. She is popular but shes a tier 2 villager at best. Ankha is still popular, so i think she should stay. Marina should go down.

Some more ideas on tier 2:
Molly is definetly increasing in popularity. I think she might even be more popular than Bam or Fang. She isnt quite tier one yet though.

About rudy, drago and octavian, They should all be moved down a bit. These animals are almost never sold or talked about. They rarely even turn up on the trade fourms.

Molly is on the rise. HECKLE yes. She's so adorable.

And as much as I love him and as much as I hate to say this...Rudy isn't as popular as his rank suggests. Pretty much everyone prefers Kid Cat as the jock cat (idk why, he's just weird-looking to me) over Rudy.

I also agree with Whitney and Ankha being lowered.

Whitney DOES need to be lowered, however she's in exactly the same position as Fang was about a month ago.. Fang (or any of the current Tier Twos) are NOT popular enough to replace her, which is why she's still Top Tier for the moment.

For the people saying Ankha needs to drop, I disagree entirely.. I think she is a very solid Tier One atm and a LOT of people want her/have her, the amount of people who are selling her has decreased recently, but she is still very much a top tier villager.

As for Molly, I don't really see her on the rise atm, but I'll keep a look out.. Rudy and Drago need to drop atm, but I'm not quite sure where to..

For now, Rosie is also a top tier villager and will stay there.. She's too popular for me to drop her currently.

Marina will soon be dropping to Whitney's place once I've found a way to move her..

The only other Tier One that currently needs to drop is Beau. I've barely seen him around recently, he's not in many dreamy lists and also could do with losing a few places.. Stitches could also be considered for a drop too.

Couldn't she just go as Number 1 on Tier 2 and just have only 14 on the top tier.. or are you saying the Tier 2 label of "very popular" doesnt fit her?

I like the current evenness of the tiers atm (15 in T1, 30 in T's 2 & 3) .. And if possible, I'd like to keep it that way

Nobody said Ankha should be dropped a whole tier, just a couple of levels. Beau certainly needs to drop though. Everyone I meet thinks he's a creepy stoner. xDD

Aww I don't think that about Beau. Just because he's been seen around less doesnt mean his popularity should drop that much!
I do agree about bumping Ankha down tho.

(As for the stoner thing, he isn't the only animal with those eyes, lots of lazys have them, just look at punchy!

Same here. But even with his fairly low placement, I've seen him on quite a few dreamie lists.

The addition of tiers (except for borderline tiers in rare circumstances) are not really up for discussion.. The five tier system works well for me and everyone else around.

Also, Merengue is definitely more popular than Diana.

1. The above is really not supported by the facts of the very topics of this forum. I saw Merengue going for > 20 million, as well as as little as 4.5 million. Diana consistently goes for at least 10 million.
2. Now whether or not you want to implement suggestions, that is really up to you. I don't mind either way, since I formed a pretty good idea about what villager is valuable and to what extent.
But your topic is sticky, and I saw many people offering (for example Fauna, or Beau, etc) in exchange for Marshal and then bumping the topic over and over. It was just an observation. Again, you can do whatever you think best with it.
