Lily of the Valley/Jacob's Ladder spawn rate

I earned my 5-star rating last May 26th. And until now I still only have 1 lily of the valley/Jacob's ladder. I've read that some spawn another after a week. Some spawn 2-3 flowers within a week.

I have maintained that rating until now but no new spawns. I have 400+ flowers so I thought I might have too many. But my island can still spawn news ones. Any idea why?

i dont think they come everyday. I think the spawn rate in RNG b/w 3-7 days.

I got my first one in mid-May but probably because of TTing, I legit have too many on my island now. They don't need watering, but I felt like my spawn rate was high.

I do water them just in case, but I don't think it does anything. They just spawn randomly along the cliffs.

That's the thing... It's been two weeks since my first spawn and I still don't have new ones. I expected at least one or two more during this time span but nothing. :/

I even looked behind cliffs and buildings and got nothing.

Its been 5 weeks since you got your rating, so having 5 makes sense.

i think they’re just rng,, when i had a 5 star island they only spawned about 3 of them over the course of a couple weeks. when i tt-ed to complete my art exhibit by farming redd, i only got about 15 or so of them when i tt-ed constantly over the course of 4 days, more than i can count. they just have an awful spawn rate i think.

make sure you have room on the edges of your cliffs tho, so they can spawn!

I always assumed it's approximately one per week, which is what I've been getting.
I suppose they won't spawn if your land is covered in tiles/stone. They do spawn on dirt paths though.

I think they only spawn on cliff edges, so if you have a lot of things along the edges of your cliffs, they might not have enough space to spawn.

But they also don't spawn every day (I think I read somewhere you get one a week but I can't verify that), so you might just need to be patient.

I also heard that it might just be on the cliffs in the back of your map. When I had 5 stars, they spawned the first and second level cliffs

To weigh in, I also did observe that mine usually kept growing on the edges of cliffs. I have gotten five so far, and I did receive a five star rating sometime around mid-May. I do think they tend to spawn randomly, but I think to maximize your potential, you should maybe leave some space on your cliff edges.

Ah, I haven't terraformed any new cliffs into being, just did a bit of sculpting on the ones I already had, so that didn't occur to me. Definitely seems possible though!

Make sure you have lots of room on the edges of your cliff! I noticed if I let random flowers grow, there they won’t spawn

I reached a 5 star rating on the 19th of May and I have 5 lily of the valley now. It seems randon when they appear.

It took me between two and three weeks after I first reached 5 stars for me to get my first lily of the valley. Since then, they've shown up fairly often but that initial gap was a huge bummer.

A little update. A new one just spawned for me today. But wow, two weeks is still a huge gap in my case.
