Okay, so i'm sure most of you are aware or peeps posting pics on facebook and it's like "Like if beautiful - ignore if not" and then most beautiful teen contest and all this crap. I always think it's pathetic, but then this just took it to a whole new level;
Seriously, posting a baby on facebook, just to get people to like it.
I swear these people want to achieve a photo getting like 500,000+ likes. It's pathetic.
Please. Discuss I want to hear peeps opinions on this crap, it's horrible.
Actually fb does a lot of good,if I didn't have fb I wouldn't know that doctors will only perform life changing surgery if a picture has 2 mil likes, and that if you don't 'like' it you hate puppies and bacon.
I immensly enjoy my cousins fb because she pouts and does lots of 'weird' angle pics in the mirror using her phone to make herself look more attractive, fb also is great when you can see people bickering on there.
Really fb is the spawn of the devil,however, I enjoy playing scrabble on there and it's a good way to chat to people if you can't be assed to phone them. I think a lot of people post far too much personal stuff on there though.
And I KNOW you (general) don't have 50 billion friends that you know personally.
I spend a good five minutes on facebook a day, if that. The only friend I have on facebook that I ever really talk to is Andy, and we don't even use facebook to talk.
Like above says, facebook is just stupid. People treat it like it's a blog, or a diary, posting the most personal stuff imaginable. Then they complain when everyone knows about it. Also like above mentions, I have someone added that takes pictures of herself like that too. Constantly, every single day.
but it's been useful sometimes for me getting back in touch with old friends. that's really about as far as the usefulness has gone for me.
I do not have a facebook because I would literally have some choice words to have with people who do this kind of crap. Its fine to have a facebook to talk to your real friends but who in their right mind actually has 500+ friends? The things people do on facebook to get attention truly disgust me. Why do you need other peoples approval?
The picture you showed us Bidoof really disgusts me. People shouldn't put their children on display or ask if people think she's beautiful. Shes a baby for goodness sake! Plus you don't even know how many freaks are out there who are looking at you or your children in a way they shouldn't. Parents who do that to their kids should have their kids taken away and sterilized >< The only ones who should say "oh your daughter is beautiful!" or "My baby girl is beautiful!" are parents and close family members and friends.
"Like" if I'm beautiful? As for girls doing this, I think its ridiculously stupid. Young girls really get messed up self images if they don't reach their goal of some rediculus number of people liking the picture. Even if they are pretty, if no one else says so they will think they are ugly. Its idiotic and a form of self pity. They are only setting themselves up for a life of body image problems when they ask this crap.
I think just about everything I see about facebook is dumb. I see a lot of pictures that have people rolling in self pity and when someone asks about it they say "Don't worry about it." Well if you're going to say "I'm sad!" or something like that in a way that EVERYONE can see, be prepared to talk about it. Attention seekers >.>
Things like this is the reason I hardly ever use facebook anymore. I used to actually try to make online friends and keep in touch with the people I graduated with. Just as Kaiaa said, theres nothing but attention seekers. I now use it to talk to my brother that has yet to graduate and leave home.

You can tell they're fake, and these idiots just want their photos to get likes, really annoys me
I spent about an hour last night arguing with a bunch of neandathals who were being quite racist (racism REALLY gets my back up) and I think the absolute worst thing about it was the fact they were moaning about 'dirty immigrants' taking all the countries money, the most amusing thing about it though is that ALL the people calling me an 'enabler' (of what I'm not quite sure :S ) were living on benefits as a career choice, could not use grammar, spell and actually rather rudely deleted all my posts that negated their argument.
Word of warning...never get drunk and add people you used to know well on fb. I use it mainly to catch up with uni friends who live far away.
My 'block' list gets more extensive every month lol, if I can't see it it doesn't bother me. Plus I like seeing 'chemistry cat' pop up every now.
I do love a good debate on there though.
Seriously, i mean people on fb aren't even being serious anymore. -.- All they want is stupid people to like/share stuff and if you don't your/someone (is) gonna....etc. I was just thinking about this last night and I was thinking "Why do people have to constantly post the same thing all the time?" I don't use facebook anymore because people just pile all this drama on me and keep posting all these creepy things.
