I occupy myself by talking to Charlie for a while, until we run out of things to talk about.

I look around quietly. I get hungry and search the market for something too eat. I find a few snacks and some bread. The bread was stale but I didn't care, so I ate it.

When we run out of things to talk about, I sit in silence for a while. In absence of something to do, my thoughts inadvertently drift to Chihaya, which just upsets me as I think of what happened and that she's not talking to me.

"N-Nothing..." I say unconvincingly. I try to stop myself from thinking about Chihaya so he can't read my mind to find out, as what happened isn't really something I want to share with someone I just met

I start to think about stuff. I read her mind but it was cloudy with thought. I felt faint memories of someone named Chihaya, but no further than that. I couldn't see any relationship between the two.
