"Not for me!" I protest. "Not when knives are being flung around, invisible people take my loot bag, and then the half pumpkin monster sneaks up on you!"
Leaving the bag of loot, which I dropped earlier, I leave the house. I just keep walking straight for a while without paying attention to where I'm going, until I calm down a little.

After she leaves I turn back to the guy, "Who are you" I ask

"I thought maybe I could actually make friends for once, but I've changed my mind, I'll stick to book characters," I think aloud, sitting on a bench somewhere, nowhere near the church anymore. A small bird flies lands next to me on the bench, and chirps. "And animals. At least I can trust animals not to throw knives to scare me..."

I decide to knock him out and come back to him later so I go find Marie. I see her talking to some animals "Wait, you can talk to animals" I say from behind her, accidently scaring her... again.

I jump, and whip my head around, to see Riley behind me. "Stop doing that! And yeah, sort of. Only passive animals. Hostile ones don't listen."

"sorry" I say "But that cool, so, no one else is here, wanna just talk?"

"I guess so," I say, and move along a little on the bench to give him froom to sit down.
