"Oh, so that's what happened." I say, "I'm sorry"

I continue with the next part of the story. "...It got her off me for a moment and I made a break for the door, but she caught up. She got more violent, throwing daggers and stuff at me..." I pause again for a few moments. She decided here wasn't safe, someone could wake in, so she forced me to go back to the supermarket with her. She was holding a knife to my throat, I couldn't do anything... We even passed really close to you, but if I said anything she'd have hurt me... But once we were through the portal, she changed. She was saying I should kill her for what she did. She gave me the dagger, she had hold of my hand, and..."

"She pushed the knife in" I say, "I'm really sorry"

"But even after all that, when she left just then, I still wanted her to stay..." I'm such a monster...

"I did too, I wish I could turn back the clock"

"I just wanna forget this entire thing, go back to a time when I loved her without anything in the way..." I lie down on my stomach, with my face buried into my pillow.

I watch as everyone was asleep, but no one knew I listened to their whole conversation. I wasn't able to sleep, I wasn't able to do anything.
