So i've had my town Azalea for nearly two months, and i still have the original 10 villagers, i have not let anyone move out..
I have everyones pictures except Stinky & Stitches, and i always said i'd let some go, when i got their pictures, yet i keep preventing them from moving..
It's frustrating me, because i see dreamies in my campsite and i have no room for them ;__; and its getting stale and dull having the same ones now, i need some newbies!
but everytime i agree to let someone go, i end up stopping them
help, how can i stop this xDD
for the record, theres only about 3 i actually feel like letting go at the moment, but i still end up preventing them

You could try to guilt yourself into not saying anything. By that I mean, sometimes I feel like I'm being selfish when I ask them to stay when they want to leave.

Or if you TT, TT to the moving day after you've agreed to let them go before you change your mind.

Or whenever you get the urge to ask them to stay, pull up some pictures of all the villagers you would like to get to know and befriend in the hope that it dissuades you from giving in.

I only have 2 from my 5 left!
It's hard to say goodbye as you have had to befriend them anyway!
Maybe when the next asks to go- give them to someone who wants them!

Well, before doing it just think how boring they are or what they actually do. Have they made you laugh? Are they boring you now? Would you like one of your dreamies?

Unless you have like a little thing for keeping your villagers, I don't know haha

You said it yourself: it's getting "stale and dull" having the same villagers. Keep that in mind when they ask to move out. I understand being attached to the villagers you already have, but sometimes it's necessary to give something up before you gain something wonderful in return. :)

Just try to think that the villager that wants to move did something bad to you. It's hard to let them go; I was pretty reluctant with letting Shari leave but she'll be gone tomorrow.
Or try to think of the benefits of them moving away - you can finally let anyone you want in your town, and you'll meet someone new! :)
That's pretty much all of the tips I have. Good luck!
