Letters to future [Mayor of town]

Have you ever sent yourself a future letter, and absolutely forgot about it? I love sending them on days when some event in my life or in general happens, and I get surprised that it was me who wrote that to myself. (Sorry if that sounded confusing). But really, if you play a lot it can be a great little reminder system for yourself.

I always send myself a letter and forget when it's suppose to arrive back to me. No idea when the NL one will be sent...

I miss the old diaries they had in ACGC. I kept one on my table in my house and updated it with things that happened. I know you can check the Town Tree for events, but it was nice to have my spin on things, like a villager giving me a really cool present or finding something awesome one of them had buried in town. I loved checking the Bulletin Board for the scavenger hunt notes.

I always forget you can do that. I'll have to try it out soon. How long does it take for the letters to be mailed to you, or is it just one day like all others?

According to the AC Wikia, you can choose the date you want to receive the letter in the future.

Yeah you can choose the date as long as it's the future.

I sent a letter to myself! I haven't gotten it yet though. But I think I'm going to start writing more letters to myself, on days I feel good. Like small pep-talks to myself
