So i finally got Fuchsia to leave my island. She was a starter but I just couldnt get myself to like her, dont know what it is. Anyway she will be in boxes tomorrow and I am looking for someone to replace her. One thing to note is that I am not interested in duplicating species so thats the biggest requirement. Right now I have one of each type personality but when Fuchsia leaves I will be missing a sisterly villager. So my question for the forum is two fold:

1. Should I get another sisterly villager so that I have one of each?
2. Whatever the answer to #1 is, who should I replace Fuchsia with?

Please tell me your thoughts on both questions and then your reasoning behind your choice for #2.

For those that cant see my signature, the villagers on my island are:
Raymond, Lucky, Judy, Marina, Marshal, Flora, Bill, and Rolf.

I appreciate everyones input.

1. Whether you want one is up to you. A lot of people don't like any of the uchis' designs and so go without them. If you already have all the reactions that you can get from uchis, you're not going to lose anything from not having one, other than the fact you may not get certain DIYs as easily (you can still get them from message bottles).

2. Based on your villagers, a lot of them having vibrant, unique designs, maybe you could try out Muffy. She's like a goth sheep. She may not be the cutest thing, but then most of the uchis aren't. Others I'd recommend are Plucky (chicken, tropical aesthetic, has beach house, cute imo) or Agnes (pig, aesthetic is dark but elegant, nice house). There's Pashmina, but her house is this ugly diner set room, and Reneigh is basically Fuchsia minus the pink so probably not.

If you opt to leave out sisterly villagers altogether, you could try getting another deer villager like Fauna maybe? idk. Ruling out sisterly would make the choice a lot harder lol

Personally I’d go with Reneigh to replace Fuschia with as a sisterly, as I really like horse villagers and her design.

I recommend Pashmina! I have her and I love her.

Also I would keep a sisterly, because of the reactions and diverse dialog.

If you get a new sisterly, get Mira or Pashmina.

I initially wasn’t a huge fan of the uchi villager designs, but I have really grown to like them. I agree with the person above who pointed out that Muffy has a very bold and unique look, which seems to be true of many of your villagers. Additionally, I’ve come to really like Agnes and Ursala. Ursala I didn’t think was very cute until I saw her on a mystery island. If you care what your villagers do when they are out and about, I think the ‘play’ hobby (which involves a lot of running with their arms back) is super cute. Agnes and Dierdre both have this hobby.
I also like Shari, who was my starter a lot. Many people find the uchis somewhat abrasive, but with Shari, she kind of has this vacant clueless expression on her face and doesn’t come across as ‘cool’ at all. So I thought the sisterly ‘rudeness’ seemed more clueless and cute with her.

finally, Phoebe seems to literally sleep on a camp cot in hell, and that’s pretty cool. (She’s a phoenix) - though I see you already have flora, another ‘ostrich’

It’s your game, and you don’t have to have one of each type, though as others have said, it helps keep you from getting as much repetition.

And maybe if you explore some other sisterly villagers you will end up finding some you like!

TBH, I have been thinking that if I get another uchi/sisterly that I would get Mira as I like the superhero theme on her. But if I decide to go a different route and duplicate a personality I already have then I am really at a loss.

It's such a shame because uchis have interesting dialogue, but I can't really get over their design. The only ones are maybe Agnes and Deirdre for me, but there's so many peppys and normals I really like more, that it'd be settling just to have an uchi. In the end I go with looks more than dialogue.

I would suggest Mira but I really didn't like the inside of her house. It makes no sense for her superhero theme.

Frita or Deirdre are my suggests but if you just got rid of 1 deer, you might not want another.

Yeah im not a fan of the deer, frogs, or sheep.

I agree with the part about Mira. I really wish they didn't remove the Astro set. That was part of the reason I really liked her in New Leaf.

Ok, I did some browsing the different villagers and a quick list I came up with is below. Please let me know what you think of those and Ill try to provide a reasoning behind why I chose them.

Roscoe - Dark themed different than anyone else I have
Savannah - Like the zebra look and her name is a town from my home state
Peck - just like the way he looks as I think he looks cool, anyone else think so?
Roald - heard lots of good things about him and think he would be interesting
Hopper - same as Roscoe
Mira - like the superhero theme and is sisterly

I have Roscoe and Mira. Roscoe has this aged rocker vibe, and the fact that he's cranky means his singing isn't squeaky. Mira's my starter so she doesn't have her proper interior but I saw somewhere that it's a reference to time travel. I think the uchi personality suits her because she's a super hero with other things on her mind that idle chit chat. I find it hard to find clothes to suit her though, if that matters. I think they're both great.

I also really love how Hopper looks like a rockhopper penguin.
