A few days ago I started my second town, Hamilton. I have good plans for it, one of which includes creating a yard for myself by eventually fencing off my house with bushes. However, today when I went on I found that a new move in (Tammi) had decided to plop her home riiiiiight in front of mine. Like, I walk out of my house and I immediately see hers. How rude! I wasn't expecting plans to go wrong this early on so I had already gone on with my mayor, I couldn't plot reset or anything. I just hope she moves out quickly.
Anyone else have any horrible experiences with villagers settling down in the wrong place?
I started a new town about a week ago, and Cherry decided to plop her house right in front of the town hall.
I like Cherry as a villager but I can't keep any villager who puts their house in a place like that.
I had a villager named T-Bone who put his house right on my paths. A few days later, another villager named Purrl moved her house right in front of the Roost Caf?.
When I first started my town a villager decided to place their house on one of my paths. I was ok with it at first since I would just move them out but then when I checked to see what villager it was it had to be Eugene who is one of my dreamies. So while I was moving in the rest of the villagers to get Eugene out and do the 16 villager cycle the same thing happened with Phoebe.
So the W.V.O.A.T (worst villager of all time) Jambette moved in the middle of a 4 path intersection, and it doesn't get better, because my dreamie at the time Chief, moves in the perfect orange farm. Thank god I reset that town.
Recently, I had Joey move into town and apparently he chooses to place his house right a plot where I was farming for perfect fruits. Knowing that the recent villager that just moved out had left a space wide open in between Sterling's house and Kidd's house.
I just started a town so there is empty space literally everywhere but where do the next 2 villagers plot? right behind me and right in front of me!!! I heard that villagers like to plot near other homes so I get it from a game
mechanic perspective but like, it's SOO ANNOYING ; v ; rant over c;
in an old town, Del decided to destroy my perfect Apple orchard. D: even though there were tons of open spots in the area I would've liked him to plot.
i got so sick of plot resetting attempts because whenever i made a new character to start the process, the villagers all plot themselves quite nicely on the first time, so naturally, i decided to be stupid and not plot reset for zell, and he chose a pretty inconvenient (not bad, i guess. just not ideal) spot, so the next villager to move in i had to plot them in between everybody else and zell so it didnt look too out of place. i could have just booted zell out and done the 16 villager cycle but honestly who has time for that nonsense? zell and fang are now parked smack in between me and the plaza, when i originally planned for all of the villagers to be below the plaza. oh well. its not something i cant learn to live with, i suppose. lesson learned.
All of my villagers in fine spots until Merengue came. She's one of my favorites, and I was so devastated when she planted her house right. in. front of. the. bridge. It costed my friend 5mil bells (I'm slowly repaying her) for her, so I'm not planning on 16 cycling her. I just have to agonizingly deal with her house placement.
Eunice put her house right in front of Re-tail the day after I started Sea Cove. I was so annoyed, and she refuses to move out.
Also, I accidentally went into my mayor's account while trying to plot reset Lopez. I forgot about him until the last moment and tried to reset but it didn't work, so now his house is wedged between Re-tail and my mayor's house. It's a diagonal line, freaking tic tac toe.
ed plopped in front of my paths when i still had my old town. i was so mad, it was the most inconvenient spot since it's smack-dab middle of my paths that led to my house.
The first time I was plot-resetting, I did not know what I was doing. I did not know that playing as the main mayor would solidify the plot. So I kept resetting hoping that the plot would move, but time after time, it didn't move. It was legtimately right in the middle of the pathway with the custom patterns I just made. I was not happy. This is the reason why Shari is, to this date, one of my most hated villagers.
When I was plot resetting in Starpass, my villagers would keep plotting their damn house right in front of mine or behind my house. I placed street lamps there right away after that.
When you start out with the perfect layout and soon enough the slightest inch of a house placement drives you INSANE and makes you hate everything.
This happens to me a lot, and I really wish I didn't somehow screw up plot resetting. I have crazy OCD about these things.
Anyways, I particularly hate when a villager moves rIGHT in front of my house, the town hall or Re-Tail. Nothing worse. Or when they move in right next to them.
It breaks my heart when they almost move in a perfectly aligned spot to another house but nope, gotta be off a few inches.
