hey all, i wanted to work towards my dream badge again and this thread needed a little revamp.

this is self explanatory, but i want to dream of your towns! i'm especially excited because of the recent update and i wanna see how everyone's town's have grown and change since then! i'll be doing this on and off over the next few months or so- just depends on when i can get my badges ~

your layout is incredibly interesting because i myself wanted to pick a town layout like this but opted against it because i'm lazy.

you have a very very solid theme going on in your town and i like that,
it's like a mix between zen and fairy-tale towns, and i like this a lot more than the standard fairy themed towns.

i love that you have little presents scattered throughout your town. each resting pwp has cute presets to open and parade around with and that makes it very fun to explore in. i loved the heart balloon. balloons are my favorite.

your camp site area is my favorite spot. i love the crackling of the bonfire pwp you placed by it and how it seems secluded and sectioned off by trees and bushes. <3

my biggest issue right now is realizing what paths to follow because they switch so dramatically and it's easy to stray from paths and i've noticed myself standing 'in water" most of the time. oops. that's my only down to this town so far. that's the own downside i've found in your town. is for losers like me to navigate it's incredibly difficult to follow anything except the bigger more dominant paths laid out. it's still beautiful, but the mixes between what look like wooden streams running along side narrow paths makes it hard to navigate what direction i should be going.

i love the villager of yours that states "mira gossips a lot" haha.

overall, your town is beautiful, and i really really really enjoy this.
the cherry blossoms made me happy to see. i always love when the blossoms are in season.

oh gosh yes first off, i LOVE the outfit you laid out by the train station. this sweater vest makes me look fancy and adorable. and it looks super good with the bunny balloon. ~ ugh yes balloons are the best.

emily: "dem butts" by butts i'm hoping she means dongwoo's bubble butt.

i really love the use of red/yellow fruits used for the trees, the mangos, the perfect cherries, they all pop really well together and match the fall theme so well. i love that.

i like that you've got solid paths with a nice layout to venture around with. it's easy to tell where you're taking people and i appreciate that a lot. defined paths are one thing i prefer in towns but don't always get to see. you've got such a great start, i think fall towns are harder to make sometimes bc pwps might limit you depending on how you want it to look overall. you've got TONS of space to expand in and i love that. you're got a solid path now all thats left is adding in landscaping designs and more pwps to make everything flow together.


one thing i disliked about the town was the color coordination of the flowers.
i like mixing flowers up and making patterns of various colors, so seeing big expands of space with all yellow, all pink, all white etc, of flowers kinda threw me off a bit. it looks pretty still, but for some reason that's one thing i didn't like.

the stripes of flowers along the bottom right of your map, by the flower clock looked really nice though. and i've never done vertical lines of flowers before but it really made the clock POP. ~

i think my only advise is use bushes, bushes, bushes, bushes all over the place.
your town has a lot of hot/warm colors and i think adding various degrees of greens will help balance it out. <3

i really liked your town too, it's got a really nice flow, i think all your missing is more landscaping and pwps when you unlock / find what would look good throughout the town! thank you so much for letting me dream of your town. :')

aww, it's always nerve racking to have people judge the hard work you've put into things. my town is a still a massive wip, and i hate when i share my dream address for people to look at my town and they end up focusing on just my ****ty houses. : / makes me feel lousy because maybe my town was awesome but you're too busy being upset at my 7 different sets in my houses to bother looking at my slave work. grr.

flowers suck, i love them but they are such a freaking pain i hate them. i used to have all colors, but i woke up one day and said nope im only using white, pink, blue and purple flowers in my town. that's it. nothing else, and i've liked that decision ever since. i spent a LOT buying all of them but i don't regret it decision one bit.

yes the dembutts omg that was cute. usually i dont talk to villagers or anything but i was curious, and it didn't disappoint. please don't burn up int he sunnnnnnn!

There really isn't much to look at, as I've very recently restarted, but I'd love to hear your opinions on it! Please check out my house too. It's basically the only stand out feature of the town as of right now. xD Be forewarned that there is furniture and gardening stuff strewn all around the train station haha.

upon entering your dream, i gotta say, i'm not a big fan of the dark tiles, but they do make all the gold roses / golden peaches pop. i'm envious that your town's native fruit are peaches. i'd kill for that. ~

as much as i wanted to take the balloon from your plaza, i just couldn't.. i opted for the toy hammer. i love this.

the blackish stones look better when there's the path between it, i like it more like that, but i had to wander a little to figure out where to go since your paths aren't connected and are often scattered sporadically around buildings and pwps. that's one thing that's breaking my love for this golden town. i do love the bell trees, i like the idea that this town is full of wealth. but i feel like the top half of the town is too bare without paths to set you on your journey.

the bottom half of your town, once i crossed the river, i fell in live with it. the paths are beautiful and simple and i loved it. like in namstar's town, i'm still not fond of big squares and bunches of single colored flowers, but they're still pretty to look at none the less.

i like that all your villagers are decently placed in the same area of your map. the bottom half has really been my favorite part.

my only true dislike about your town is you have no real solid paths, and i know towns aren't all about paths, but i just like having a guide to place me along to see all that you've created. overall your town is really plentiful, and i really do love all the gold in it! it's got good potential. i'm just super picky about paths. <3

okay first off, i LOVE winter towns. absolutely love them. my DA right now is saved in winter and it's the best. ugh.
once again i opted for the toy hammer bc i gotta beat people up, and i'm totally a maid. love it. haha. <3

i'm gonna be honest and say i really don't like the choice of paths, they're cute and minty and what not, but i'm lame and like traditional paths. but i love that your paths are very easy to follow and have good purpose.

the flower theme is perfect, and i'm pretty sure we used the same colors in our towns for flowers. haha. i love white, blue, pink and purple together. they blend so easily and make the snow pop beautifully. i love that you didn't cluster colors into single piles and that you added movement with them. bless you. i've needed this.


your fountain area is absolutely gorgeous, i love this so so so so much it's such a beautiful placement.
i love your use of cedar trees, the dark green really helps the golden leaves of the sap trees to pop.

THE HEART PLACED IN FRONT OF THE PICNIC BLANKET IS FreaKING ADORABLE. i don't have words.
i really don't like fairy-ish themes towns but you might be changing me right now. i really like this town so far.

i love the shells going down the ramps to the beach, thats something i've never seen. and it's really rather cute wow.
your use of tons of bushes really pleases me, i do the same thing in my town and i think there's no much thing as too many bushes. ugh. <3

i could write about this town for forever, i really really really like your town. and i'm really impressed.

Thank you for your review. I love reading detail ones and yours is my favourite so far. The toy hammer is also my favourite and I usually use it when I feel mischievous lol. The path tiles are not my favourite either since I couldn't find ones that I really liked for winter. You should visit it when it's summer tho. All of my bushes are red hibiscus and they look beautiful during the time. I'm glad that I could change your impression on fairy inspired towns c:

I always worry about people judging my houses, just since I spend more time landscaping my whole village instead of spending much working on my houses. Once I design a room I pretty much keep it that way and only make small, occasional changes. My friend always tells me that my town is really nice but I always feel like everyone else's is better than mine.

I plan on getting rid of most of the yellow and red flowers soon, once I get more hybrids to take their place or more bushes if I have the space for them. A lot of my little flower areas are too close to the river to plant anything else.

My second town is a massive wip, and even though I put my DA in my signature, it's not something I really want to -ask- people to review or anything. It's pretty barren, as I'm still waiting for 2 villagers to move out. I also never seem to get pwp requests no matter what I've tried, so I have pretty much no decent pwps at all to put out.

i love that when you enter your dream town, it looks like you're emerging from mango trees. i'm laughing omg.

ooohhh, you've got a good start. sadly i'm not a fan of your paths, i feel like they're too jaggity. like the edges of the vertical ones clash with the horizontal. they're pretty other than that though! i like the colors inside of the stones.

you've got a really good start so far, i like the trees along the path to the cafe, i think that looks super cute, especially because it fades out into that flower arch pwp and i really like that. <3 :')

i honestly like the paths better when you've got them double up next to each other, like how it is outside the town hall going towards the river. i think that looks really nice. your flowers are scattered a little all over but i know you're just starting and my town also has big patches of flowers i've yet to organize and place.


overall for a new town you've really got an incredibly start for only playing a month for this town.
i wanna come back in a few months and see how it's progressed! please let me know on your updates.

hey sorry, i'm trying to space these out so they don't all end up getting post merged. haha. i will review all the towns, just at a slower pace depending on how many people post!


I LOVE THAT YOUR TOWN IS RAINING. bless you, rain music is so so so so so peaceful.

once again, i'm not a big fan of non-traditional paths but i really do like the soft pink and white of the tiles you chose.
i like that you made the plaza area checkered but your paths break into a solid color instead. that's really nice and it compliments really well. and i like that the pattern tries to add in little steps as well. those are a nice touch.

towards the right of the map though, you've got a section with the town hall, villagers, and mayor/alt's house as well and it's extremely cluttered there. but on the opposite site, towards the retail you've got a BEAUTIFUL setup of bushes, flowers, and pwps that looks absolutely stunning and i absolutely love this section. all the pink and white flowers really make the bright greens pop, and i'm glad you used bright green bushes instead of dark ones.

i think the area's that have lots of bushes lining the paths looks a lot better than areas where there are just copious amounts of flowers lining the pathways and opens spaces.

the area of heavy tree's towards the police station is cute, but there's still so much you can do with this town in it's bigger open spaces and i really like it so far. i'm not really a big big fan of fairy-tale towns but this one is quite charming as well! i'm really glad you've let me visit your dream and i'd like to come back sometime to see how things progress!

as for flowers, i'd suggest doing diagonal patterns or maybe something simple like, pink,white,bush,white pink.
stuff like that to mic greens with pinks and whites and maybe even soft purples (like white pansies and violets)

whoa i can honestly say i've never been to a town with grass patterned all over the place, you even have QR flowers too!
there's a first time for everything i suppose, this is really interesting.

oh okay, i have no idea what these little patterns are, at first i thought it was a grill of some type, but now i see it must be from minecraft because i see the creeper QRs on the ground by the train station! this town is really interesting. i still can't get over the use of the green grass pattern all over the place. it's definitely unique.

the picnic area w/ the pwp looks really cute, i like your use of pink, white and blue roses around it

the zen bath area is really nice as well, and the use of bamboo pulled it off.

the minecraft standee blew me away because i thought my mayor was going to be swallowed whole by that giant hole in the ground. you should be careful about that, you might lose some of your villagers. ;')

the giant creeper outside of your home seriously scared me and i was not prepared for that.

overall your town is really really interesting to me, and although i can't say that i'd design a town like this- it was really a breath of fresh air to see that theres a /lot/ more people can do with ac than just pathways and pretty flower designs. thank you for sharing your creeper town with me, it's been quite an experience.
