Also this might seem like a dumb question but what exactly do we do? I haven't bought a pokemon before.. I'm assuming we just add each other's friend codes and I trade a useless pokemon for the Ho-Oh? Is that right?

yes. so you trade some useless pokemon for my Ho-oh. I'm usually online around this time and for the next 2 hrs. And the other times varies between 1PM - 6pm AEST (Sydney time)

I'm in Australia too so finding a good time shouldn't be a problem. I'll go on around 1pm and hang around for a couple of hours. Hopefully you'll be online at some point to trade. I think you have to go to the name changer to change their nickname. I haven't done it so you'll probably be able to do it yourself

You can't change a Pokemon's name if you get him from a trade. :c
