I would say Ocarina of Time. If you've never played a Zelda game before, it's a great place to start. It introduces a lot of the traditional characters and sticks to the more core elements of the Hyrule universe.
The other games have elements that are specific to those games and don't really appear outside of it. They are still great games and should be played but if you have to start with one, I would suggest Ocarina of Time.
Well, if you wanted to follow timelines, then I would choose Ocarina of Time, followed by Majora's Mask, followed by Link Between Worlds. There are some games before Ocarina of Time, but you can start without them. So yeah, play Ocarina of Time.
My opinion would be to start depending on what style of gameplay you want -
- for 3D start with Ocarina of Time and then Majora's Mask
- for 2D/retro style, go with Link Between Worlds
As amazing as it is, I personally wouldn't start with Majora's Mask because it is so different than the other Zelda games. If you like Ocarina of Time though, by all means play Majora's Mask.
