Least favorite event/holiday?

My husband would say Pave Day. I heard him sing the song that he thought I was singing.
It got stuck in his head and he couldn't stop.
Pave Day is more fun if you play with abunch of online friends. The first year I opened my Guest Town and had feathers in rows.
We had a blast running thru the town. It wasn't a real town at the time and didn't have to worry about flowers.

Fish/Bug Off ends at an odd time if you play in real time. At 6pm it's supper time.

The problem I have with Holidays or Events are villagers trying to skip town. It should be one day where we don't have to worry about someone skipping town.

Zipper is creepy, and the egg furniture might be my least favorite in the game.

Other should have a Valentine's Day standee with a boy and girl holding hands and a bunch of hearts, and Isabelle could hand out a group of heart balloons in red, white and pink that you could hold.

Isabelle should assign you a secret valentine- then you have to buy them a bouqet or chocs from the Emporium but the prices that week are 10 times normal price!

Fishing tourney. I don't even bother to participate after I obtained the gold trophy. I find it annoying because the villagers tend to talk about it all day, and i dislike chip and the fact that he eat all the fish i give is just disturbing lol

Honestly, I don't mind the work that Harvest Festival is. Yes, it would be annoying if you didn't know about it. But if you prepare for it in advance, doing the Harvest Festival on the day of is pretty fun. I use this list and gather the items it says on there. You won't need them all on the day of, but if you have them all, it makes things easier/faster. I store the mushrooms and fruit in a certain part of my storage area and I put the fish in a room in my house.

I actually tend to prep in advance for Bug Offs and Fishing Tourneys too. The only time I can't prep for Fishing Tourneys is the months where they require a specific fish. November is unfortunately one of those. If you have to catch a certain fish, it's easier to track size if you do it the day of. For the any fish tourneys, I don't have to worry about size as much if I catch different species of fish for each one I have to turn in and just write down which order I want to turn them in (Bug-Off is same as this).

Holidays and events that require prep work in advance just give me more things I can do on the days leading up to it.

I'm thinking halloween on acnl, just because the villagers chase after you and gang group you for candy after another xD but I do like halloween in actuality though xDD

I'M SURPRISED THAT YOURS IS THE FIRST POST I'VE SEEN IN THIS THREAD ABOUT IT, BUT I 100% AGREE.

I HATE Bunny Day with every single fibre of my being. Not only is Zipper's costume creepy, but he only acts happy and energetic when I'm around. When I walk away he stands completely still. It's just weird. I don't like the furniture either. I only like that I get tons of free candy to hoard until Halloween.

It's just weird. I don't like the furniture either. I only like that I get tons of free candy to hoard until Halloween.

yes, I'm not alone!! yeah, the dancing when you approach is what really makes him creepy to me. the costume, while creepy, I can deal with. lol
similarly, I also don't like Lloid's violent wriggling when you approach him. Lloid is so creepy to me because of that.

I like the idea of egg furniture, but the execution is just... no. I know it existed before New Leaf, but I wish it could have a good redesign or something. :x
another annoying thing is how I ended up with so many of the grand prize tickets, and that seems like a common occurrence for many people. like, why make them the big deal when you can get so many? meh!

I can agree with Lloid too omg. I don't think the creators of the game thought it would be creepy when they were creating it. :x

Food furniture in general is just meh for me but redesign would make it a whole lot more appealing

I don't like Thanksgiving- only one country celebrates it at that time, and it's just boring imo! I don't think the tourneys are much fun either. Once a year for each event is enough! Other than those (and the lack of Valentines) I really love how ACNL approach the holidays- but I with there were more from different cultures/ countries, like Diwali, Chinese New Year or Bonfire Night!

Bug off, I find it useless because i'm more of a fisher than a bug catcher so i rarely ever take part in it.
