Least favorite event/holiday?

I personally really hate the Fishing Tourney/Bug off. The tent is larger than the other tents that come by, and as a result it deletes my water paths while the other tents don't so I have to take out my second character just to put them back. And that's all the villagers talk about for the whole day. They can't ping you until it's over. So you can't get PWPs or know if someone's moving out. Also, it lasts a whole 12 hours until it's over. It really doesn't have to be that much. Majority of the prizes are lame, and the dialogue from both the hosts and the villagers gets super repetitive and boring. Plus it takes up at least three messages on your bulletin board (The tourney is on Saturday, tomorrow is the tourney, the results) and since you can only have 15 messages up there at a time if you don't delete them you can lose a message you wanted to stay on there. In fact I went on a hiatus from the game a few weeks ago and when I came back the message saying I had assumed role of town mayor from the beginning of the game was gone because the tourney/ bug off messages clogged up the board. I was really angry about that because that has been there since November 2014 and I wanted to keep that notice on the board forever. Many holidays in the game only use 1 or 2 bulliten messages. 3 is really unnecessary. I wish as mayor you can cancel events and holidays. I'd get rid of the Fishing Tourney and Bug-Off in a heartbeat.

I'm so-so on Festivale. It's kind of fun and frustrating at the same time. Pav? really annoys me, though.

But my least favorite? Hmm... Valentine's Day. You get a special gift in the mail and Brewster serves hot chocolate instead of coffee. And that's it. How boring.

i agree about the fishing and bugging tournaments: they really become tedious if you don't have the day off, or if some villager manages to get a huge well scoring creature first thing in the morning : / in my last town bella got a bird-wing butterfly within five minutes of the competitions start and i only managed to beat her in the last hour :////////// similarly, if you don't really carefully stagger what you give to each of the hosts, you can end up only gaining like a single rare piece of furniture the whole day. another thing i hate about events in general is when you think you can do mayorial work because isabelle isn't outside and the counter is open, but the second you sit down she tells you to take the day off work..isabelle why

As an Australian, I find the Thanksgiving(?) event that's going on now rather pointless. It holds no significance to me at all, and I would have rathered it be replaced with something else. But Australia isn't a large enough demographic to be catered to yet, so I should probably just accept that

I'm American and I don't celebrate Thanksgiving Day. I'm a picky eater who doesn't care about the foods and I sure don't want to be around people. LOL. I spend Thanksgiving like any other normal day of the year. I almost chose the Harvest Festival as my least favorite holiday, but I think the villagers look cute in their aprons and it's fun trying to gather things for them.
