League of Legends Saturday!

So I wanted to get some kind of LoL group going to get together and play every week or bi-weekly or something. This would happen on Saturday nights. I'm not sure if anyone would be interested but if you are, let me know. This would be hosted on the NA servers and we would climb on Mumble in order to chat, of course it would all be for fun.

Not sure what everyone's timezones are but if you want to post it here it could help me arrange a decent time for everyone!

So post your region so I can make up a list.

Also for those of you who only play bots, you'll get better by playing PVP with us, and we won't hate on you... so don't worry, haha.

I do not play on the NA servers but if the interest is high enough and I do not get terrible latency there then I would be interested in creating an account so that I could participate - However, would it be acceptable to join in even at summoner level one, without Runes and mastery levels?

~@ Karla - You are absolutely right that the region locking sucks, but whenever I play DotA 2 and select the European server and that I want to be paired up with people in my area, every single game seems to be full of laggy Russians that doesn't want to communicate in the English language. Really not sure which is worse. >_< (Nothing against Russia! Beautiful country! Just not so great with the lag and lack of teamplay!)

Same as Sataric, my level 30 account is on EU West but I could make an NA account if needed.

You can try and select English language preference, but I find that the russians get much better in my bracket (4000+ rating). Either way, the chat wheel and pings are enough to communicate, so much that I rarely find myself typing in a solo pub game.

I think my NA account is level 11, so no flash yet. No runes either. Oh well.

Sounds like a good idea tbh and yeah chat/pings is enough unless you really need Mumble.

But yeah can probably be done in other timezones/server as well, hopefully

I think NA is playable from Australia? I ping about 180 to the NA servers, which leads me to believe they're hosted on the West coast of the US.

yeah that kinda sucks. euw lags better than it should so i doubt i would benefit from server changes plus most of my friends play on euw so

NA people play, EUW people play, OCE people play, and we all chat it up! we'd probably need 3 different channels though because it could really confusing if a few people are in a game togther and a few other people are in a different game on another server and people are making call outs.

If everyone's going to be split up in different channels, what's really the point then? I somewhat doubt you'll be able to find enough people to have NA, EUW and OCE parties going at the same time.

eh splitting up was just a possible solution to confusing callouts while you're ingame. I'd rather not be split up. There wouldn't have to be full teams! I know if I just found one other person to play with I'd be more than happy to join, personally.
